Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have officially revealed Battlefield 6 multiplayer, showcasing its gameplay, the iconic destructible buildings, and a whole lot more. They announced that Battlefield 6 will release on October 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA App.
During the event, Battlefield Studios provided a look at the new and returning multiplayer modes, a sneak peek of the blockbuster single-player campaign, and the evolution of Battlefield Portal.
Battlefield 6 introduces an innovative Kinesthetic Combat System that enhances both movement and gunplay. This system provides players with an unprecedented level of mobility and introduces new tactical options, including the ability to drag and revive teammates, allowing players to pull their allies out of danger.
At launch, it will have a large package of multiplayer modes and maps with settings in Egypt, Gibraltar, and the streets of New York. Each map has multiple combat zones, designed to suit specific game modes. Iconic game modes that will make a return include Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush.
You can also expect to see Team Deathmatch, Squad Deathmatch, Domination, and King of the Hill.
After it was speculated, Battlefield 6 will officially cost $69.99; pre-orders are available now. As expected, the newest Battlefield will not release on Game Pass day one.
