This past week, it was no secret that Battlefield 6 is officially available. After the shockwave that was the open beta earlier this summer, fans were eager to jump back in. To put into perspective how much hype was surrounding this title, Battlefield 6 was met with over 550,000 players in the just the public playtest alone. And that was just the tip of the iceberg.
Developer DICE also shared new information on how optimization worked for Battlefield 6 as well. Developing the title on Xbox Series S, the weakest console in the current market, led to proper workarounds to improve the experience overall on all platforms. Even across the reach for Call of Duty, it looks like the competition is stiffening as it is disabling SBMM for its new release with Battlefield 6 releasing.
Now with the hype still fresh, DICE has announced its full Season One roadmap for Battlefield 6. Coming later on October 28th, players will be met with the first content update – Rogue Ops. You can view the full layout for Season One in the image below:

“Each season, we will deliver brand new content every month: starting with Season 1, expect new maps, weapons, modes, vehicles and other features that not only enhance Battlefield 6 Multiplayer, but are also available for creators to add to Community Experiences using the Portal Builder Tool,” the blog post reads.
“On October 28, our first season kicks off with Rogue Ops, an experience where squads will be challenged to use their ingenuity and achieve victory on our new map Blackwell Fields. On November 18, the homegrown United States alliance defies the odds in the California Resistance and takes the battle to Eastwood. And on December 9, the tide of war shifts once again with a sub-zero chill during the Winter Offensive that blankets the Empire State in snow.”
The game modes coming includes Strike Point, Sabotage, and Ice Lock. Other added content like weapons lists the SOR-300C carbine, Mini Fix sniper rifle, GGH-22 sidearm, DB-12 shotgun, M327 Trait sidearm, and Ice Climbing Axe melee alongside attatchments Slim Handstop, Rail Cover & LPVO. The APC Traverser Mark 2 land vehicle is also listed.
