UPDATE: Star Wars: Battlefront II’s creative director confirmed something that many fans hoped for and that is the game will not have a Season Pass. That was a big problem with the first Battlefront from DICE, released in 2015. The multiplayer-only game felt sparse at its $60 launch price, but it slowly evolved over four post-release map packs, each priced at $15. A full year after its release, Battlefront finally felt complete.

EA Star Wars have just announced Battlefront 2 in the Star Wars celebration panel this morning. It’s out November 9th for EA/Origin Access members, November 14th for Deluxe Edition owners and November 17th for everyone on Xbox One, PC, and PS4. Here are the key features Battlefront 2 promises to deliver:

  • Single-Player
  • Expanded Multiplayer
  • Space Battles
  • Characters from all ERAS
  • Splitscreen
