While the ongoing reign from Bethesda Game Studios regarding the Fallout franchise still ties into Fallout 76, there is some exciting additions coming to the 2018-release project. In that, the developer is planning to expand the series to previously introduced locales set in the Fallout universe. According to a previous trailer for the game, Fallout 3’s The Pitt will be an expedition set for Fallout 76 sometime next year.
Additionally, it is expected the new approach for Fallout 76 will expand to greater areas in due time. That is supported from previous datamines of the game. At the time, it was discovered that the game studio imbedded files of what appears to be elements of Washington D.C. tied to the expeditions project prior to its announcement later on.
Amidst the wait leading up to the next announcement for Fallout, Bethesda is hiring held from the modding community. Last week, Fallout: London, a fan-made mod set in the titular English city, shared lead writer Stephanie Zachariadis is joining Bethesda for a new role as a Associate Quest Designer.
“Stephanie has been a pillar of support for the team and has helped create a fantastic and interesting main story and dialogue that we feel you will really enjoy – and we just know she’ll be bringing these talents to the writing boards of Todd himself,” the team shares for Zachariadis departure. “We expect a bright future for her and we fully give her all of our support.”
Surely, this is not the first instance that an Xbox subsidiary has picked up talent from the modding community. Previously, it was reported that 343 Industries has recruited ReclaimerVR modder in a recent discovery on their Twitter account. You can read the full report by heading here.
