Double Eleven released Blindfire earlier this Fall bringing a twist to the First-Person Shooter genre. The game is currently in Early Access and it’s currently limited in maps, game modes, and weapons. On November 21, Double Eleven released the Race to Kill update for Blindfire that brought new features, modes, and weapons taking a step towards the full experience.
The new mode, Kill Race is a team-based, fast-paced, deathmatch-style mode with one goal: reach the kill limit before your opponents do. This will be the first time Blindfire will see a respawn-based mode as it only had an elimination game mode.
In Kill Race, players can choose their spawn point after surveying the arena and they’ll jump back into action with the retro-futuristic respawn pods.
Two new expansive maps have been added to the game, along with two weapons: the Scarab and the Impunity.
- The Scarab: An automatic pistol with an incredibly rapid fire rate. Unleash a full magazine in the blink of an eye, but understand that you’ll definitely give away your position while you’re at it.
- The Impunity: A burst-fire shotgun with a unique twist. Each trigger pull fires two consecutive shots. Mastering its recoil is key to maximizing its devastating potential.
