Blizzard Entertainment recently posted a job listing for Associate Design Director, Innovation – Unannounced Game. As we know, Blizzard Entertainment is known for its work on the Overwatch series and is very familiar with creating shooters. This job listing has possibly teased what the company is working on next which sounds to be an open-world game.

The job description reads: As the Design Director of Innovation, you will be the vision holder and owner of key strategic innovations on an upcoming open-world shooter game

The job listing goes further into detail saying that you stay current with the latest developments in both the indie and AAA space. The job requirements include over 12 years of experience in a design role or equivalent in work/education experience with at least 5 years experience leading and mentoring teams.

Blizzard Entertainment is clearly working on an important project, but it remains uncertain whether this is a brand-new IP or something familiar to us.

What do you think Blizzard is working on?
