bungie gummy bears

It has been known publicly that Bungie Studios has been working on a new MOBA codenamed ‘Gummy Bears‘. All we really know is the concept art the studio shared one time a couple of years ago.

Project Gummy Bears was in development at Bungie along with Marathon, but now the game is being handled by a new PlayStation Studio. The Game Post also reports that 40 Bungie developers are working on project Gummy Bears.

Gummy Bears Inspired By Super Smash Bros.

While Gummy Bears is a MOBA at heart, it apparently has elements that are inspired by Nintendo’s biggest fighting game, Super Smash Bros. That is according to sources close to The Game Post.

The outlet claims players will not have traditional health bars, instead, the game uses a “percentage-based damage system, where characters are knocked back further on how much damage they’ve taken or inflicted”.

Gummy Bears will also feature multiple game modes that cater to various players, and three different classes: Support, Attack, and Defense.

As always we must take rumors like these with a grain of salt until it has been made official by Bungie and PlayStation.
