While Call of Duty fans are already invested in the currently active Modern Warfare beta as players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC can duke it out in the game’s tested cross-play lobbies, another game of the franchise is just around the corner for an earlier release believe it or not. Just this week Activision announced that the already released Call of Duty Online for PC, which is exclusive in China, will be coming to the mobile platform at the start of October.

Alike what we are already familiar with from Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 via Blackout, Call of Duty Mobile goes in the same direction by offering a cast of characters, locations, and weapons from the entire first-person shooter’s catalogue of titles to create an conglomerate multiplayer experience.

Reported from Niko Partners’ Senior Analyst Daniel “ZhugeEX” Ahmad, he shares that despite China being commonplace for Call of Duty Online, the mobile launch is still pending for approval for the Asian country. Regardless, the approaching release for smart phones is said to have roughly 16 million pre-registered players already.

If interested in getting ahead of the line, you can pre-register for the game yourself by going here. Currently, only Android’s Google Play is available for pre-registration. Bonuses such as exclusive updates and future betas are guaranteed to be rewarded for those who sign up ahead of time.

And looking at fans who might be expecting a Switch release for Call of Duty in the future, Mobile will be your safest bet for the time being.

Call of Duty Mobile will launch for Android and iOS on October1, 2019.
