Capcom has officially announced Okami HD in the latest Weekly Famitsu issue for the current generation hardware and PC. It’s scheduled to launch later this Holiday on December 21st in Japan, and for PC on December 13th. PlayStation 4 is the only platform to receive a physical release, at least in Japan.
The new version of Okami HD will support 4K resolution and brings the loading screen mini-games removed from the Wii and PlayStation 3 versions of Okami. You will also be able to change the aspect ratio to 4:3.
Right now, Okami HD will be available in Japan only, and here’s the pricing per Gematsu:

  • PlayStation 4 physical version – 2,990 yen
  • PlayStation 4 digital version – 2,769 yen
  • PlayStation 4 limited edition – 4,990 yen
  • Xbox One digital version – 2,780 yen
  • PC digital version – 2,769 yen

For Xbox One players, this is probably good news since the platform is not getting a lot of Japanese releases.
