Yesterday, The Behemoth teased a picture of four Joy-Cons in all the different colors of the knights in Castle Crashers. That tells us that the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the very near future. Now today, the company shared another tease which included four PlayStation 4 controllers and are preparing us for an announcement next Tuesday, March 19th.

Castle Crashers was first released on the Xbox 360 as an arcade game and it was on PC. It’s hard to believe the game never touched a PlayStation console, but it looks like it won’t be too long. Game Developers Conference (GDC) takes place March 18-22 which is all of next week and it’s an event where game creators will have some reveals and especially in the indie game scene.

We’d expect the game to be announced for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch next week. The game could possibly be ready to buy right away or it will have a launch date later in 2019. We’d expect it to also be playable at PAX East at the end of March as well.
