Console Owners Are More Excited about VR than PC Gamers

A recent survey in Europe has shown that 63% of all console players, and 72% of  PS4 and Xbox One players are interested in the prospect of Virtual Reality gaming, compared to only 51% of players who prefer to game on PC.  It is worth noting that the survey asked participants to ignore pricing, preferring to focus only on the players’ interest in the concept of Virtual Reality gaming, and not its financial feasibility.  The price of the PlayStation VR ($400) was not available at the time that the survey was taken.  The survey polled participants in Germany, the UK, France, and Spain.  For an in-depth breakdown of these percentages, see GamesIndustry.
