The Bully IP has remained to be a lasting impression on players for nearly two decades. And while Rockstar Games has moved on to other franchises like Grand Theft Auto & Red Dead Redemption, there has yet to be proper justice for the 2006 release. In 2024, Rockstar Games did induct the title into its GTA+ subscription for users to indulge in the firm’s legacy releases.

But, development did begin on a sequel at one point. One report from 2019 indicated that approximately 18 months of development did happen before the game was pulled ultimately. From a recent interview with former Rockstar Games boss Dan Houser, the title was short of the publisher’s expectations with the size of the team working on the project then.

And with no signs of a sequel, developer Refugium Games is taking things into its own hands with Agefield High: Rock the School. Planning to release for PC later this summer, Perp Games has also confirmed ports for all consoles are on the way. You can watch the latest gameplay overview in the video below:

“Developed to capture the unique energy of the early 2000s, Agefield High: Rock the School invites players into the life of Sam, a new student at Agefield High,” the overview reads. “Moving to a new town just before graduation is never easy, but when Sam meets the ambitious Kale and self-proclaimed rockstar Axel, he is recruited into the ‘Rock the School’ plan – a mission to leave a legendary, permanent mark on the campus before the final bell rings.”

Perp Games says that a release date has yet to be decided on the Xbox & PlayStation versions of Agefield High: Rock the School. However, there are plans to ship the game with a ‘premium physical edition’ for PlayStation 5. According to Perp Games in a separate post on X, Agefield High: Rock the School is also planning to ship for Nintendo Switch 2 as well.
