Since the game’s announcement back in 2018, fans surrounding Bethesda continues to tout their excitement for one of Bethesda’s least clarified titles, Starfield. Following the announcement for Microsoft to acquire Betehsda parent company Zenimax Media, studio director Todd Howard injected his confusion for the amount “hype its getting for a game no one has seen.”

Following, there did happen to be reassurance from Windows Central’s Jez Corden who commented the game’s availability will reside close to Microsoft’s side. However, the Xbox company has yet to confirm on the comment. Later on speaking at Develop:Brighton Digital 2020, Howard went on to clarify that Starfield is still “a while” away from arriving to store shelves.

But despite how distant the title is from its release, there could be some information to lighten the wait for patient fans. In a thread by @klobrille on Twitter, they disclose that perhaps Bethesda will go on to reveal new Starfield details in 2021 from a image of Bethesda’s copyright for the game. The user also quotes Richard Hoeg, a namely lawyer that represents Hoeg Law.

Though the initial statement framed by @klobrille does hold to be tangible for the possibility of possible presenting for Starfield, it is still conjecture nonetheless. Hoeg in a later comment to the tweet disclosed, “I don’t know what their standard convention is.  I would say it reads more as they think something *could* happen this year, but it’s no guarantee (especially with pandemic working environments).”

So for the time being, the game is branded with a hard maybe. But even before this report, that was still the odds to deal with for a hopeful announcement. To reiterate on a statement from Bethesda, there is still the possibility a feature for Starfield this summer. In that, the firm did clarify to be planning heavily for its plans following the acquisition by Microsoft. You can read the full report by heading here.

Are you hoping Starfield information is shared this year?
