For Regent’s Crackdown 3, which is being published by Microsoft Game Studios and had a great reaction at Gamescon 2015 with it’s environmental destruction, things continue to get more interesting. In a tweet today by the official Crackdown Twitter, it was made clear that multiplayer would be available in Summer 2016. “Had a blast showing #Crackdown3 this week! Can’t wait for you to jump into MP in summer ’16- will share more on full game’s release soon!”

Multiplayer is also the only place you will be able to find the full experience of destruction. Single player will have a small amount, but is mostly focused on exploring the environment and finding collectibles.

Microsoft’s strategy is intriguing-  they aim to keep Crackdown fans busy, while Regent works to create a full single-player campaign. We hope!
