When it comes to the revisited titles at Capcom, it appears it is almost exclusively Resident Evil that gets completely remade. And this trend is to certainly continue. Capcom previously confirmed this that it is looking at new candidates following Resident Evil 4. Additionally, rumors do suggest what titles could be next. From Dusk Golem, it is indicated that Resident Evil 0 & Code Veronica are determined to be the next titles planned.

But, that is not all it appears. Although it is now directly a remake, the game is certainly a lot prettier than its initial release. Recently, Capcom teased Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster – a revisit to the classic Xbox 360 release with a new coat of paint with the RE Engine, it appears. It was also understood that the new title is also prepared to launch this year.

Alongside a promised updated during the Capcom Next Summer 2024 showcase, Capcom officially confirms Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will ship this September. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:

“Dead Rising returns with modern graphics! More than just a remaster, this Deluxe Remaster is a full graphical overhaul of the first game in zombie-slaughtering action game series ‘Dead Rising.’ This remaster has also been fully voiced, supports auto-saves, and has various other quality-of-life features. Witness the unmatched mayhem and freedom for yourself!” the Steam description reads.

Noted, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is confirmed to be releasing digitally this September. However, plans for a physical version is still saved for later this fall. In that, November 2024 is the prepared release window for users on Xbox & PlayStation to grab Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on store shelves.

How excited are you for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster?

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster ships September 19, 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
