Death Stranding PS4 exclusive will begin full development in 2017

Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding which was shown at The Game Awards is a bit further into development than we thought. He already has the engine selected, the story and concepts down. However, full scale development of the game has not begun yet and it will get into serious development in the new year as Kojima told IGN in an interview.
With most of the development already started this past year and with his team going into more serious work for Death Stranding we could expect the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive to arrive in late 2017 or sometime in 2018. They most likely won’t give an official range of a release date anytime soon if it will be coming out in 2018 as Sony does not like to announce an exact release date just to get fans hopes down over a delay.
