Publisher Ysbryd Games and developer Necrosoft Games announced that Demonschool has been delayed to November 19, 2025. It was moved from its September 3 date. The publisher mentioned this decision was partly because of Hollow Knight: Silksong’s new release date happening on September 4.
“Thus, the Ysbryd team strongly believes we would not be doing our game any favors by wading into waters we can clearly see are blood red. If the September period is going to be Silksong’s moment, then we need to be elsewhere on the calendar to give Demonschool its own moment to be seen and talked about meaningfully.”
Demonschool, the school-life tactics RPG takes inspiration from Persona and Shin Megami Tensei.
The developer made it clear there will be no more delays for Demonschool since it has been delayed once before. Necrosoft Games will take this time to polish up the game experience, and there will be more endings and minigames that they planned to patch in after its release.
Demonschool will release on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The game will cost $24.99.
