For fans that recall the Pandemic Studios hit Destroy All Humans! back in 2005, you can certainly remember the sequel that followed as well in 2006 with Destroy All Humans! 2. Well, the series has faced a revitalization with THQ Nordic & Black Forest Games with a new remake of the titles. The original released back in July 2020 for most major platforms.

Additionally, Nintendo Switch went on to feature the reworked classic later on in summer last year. Not to long after around that time, Black Forest Games revealed that is work with the IP is not finished just yet. In that, Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is slated to arrive sometime later on in 2022. But, no specific release date was given then.

In a new announcement this week, Black Forest Games alongside THQ Nordic revealed that Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is slated to release at the end of August later this summer. You can watch the new gameplay trailer in the video below:

“In Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, a faithful remake of the most acclaimed entry in the fan-favorite Destroy All Humans! franchise, our charming but evil alien invader Crypto (138!) will unleash his large arsenal of weapons onto five huge open-world areas: Bay City, Albion, Takoshima, Tunguska, and the Moon! Players will experience the swinging ‘60s in all its glory and deal with Hippies, the KGB, and many other threats,” the overview reads.

“To roam quickly around the large areas, Crypto can use his jetpack; his hoverboard; and of course his flying saucer, equipped with a neat little arsenal of destruction of its own. The saucer received an interesting update: abducting humans in certain numbers (you’ll have to follow the recipe!) will unlock new skills. And last but not least, Destroy All Humans 2! – Reprobed features a 2-player, split-screen coop-mode so you and a friend (or whatever floats your boat) can destroy all humans together!

Are you excited for Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed this year?

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed arrives on August 30, 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
