With plenty of videogames making their way to other forms of media, movies and television right now are what many fans are eager to see as their favorite games get translated into film. Now it seems that Blizzard’s Diablo might be getting its own Netflix series.

According to Revenge of the Fans, the possible Diablo Netflix series is already in the works. With Andrew Cosby, writer for the upcoming Hellboy reboot to write the script for the Netflix adaptation.

Though there’s not much else to go off from the outlet’s coverage, they do state it might be a good guess seeing the unannounced show being animated, just like the Castlevania series already on Netflix.

Cosby besides writing for the upcoming reboot, is also well known from his work writing for both Eureka and Haunted Television Shows. On top of that is also the creator of BOOM! Studios. Known for converting shows and movies into comic book series.

Looking at how Castlevania on Netflix was received as it just releasing Season Two, the same might be expected for the possible Diablo series. Though many games have failed ultimately in an attempt to the silver screen, there’s always a possibility that might not be the case.

Diablo III was announced for Nintendo Switch with this version named Diablo III Eternal Edition. Which included the base game and the two expansions already available for the 2012 title.
