Discord Nitro welcomes Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition

Today, Discord announced updates to its Discord Nitro membership, bringing new features and benefits. Part of the update now includes an Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition, giving eligible members a new way to discover games.

Discord has rolled out updates that make it easier to find and jump into games included with Game Pass. If you see a friend playing something you want to try, whether it’s in the Discord game activity or in their stream. Find the Play button and select Xbox Game Pass to start playing.

The Started Edition of Xbox Game Pass includes a library of 50+ PC and console games. The Discord Nitro membership will remain the same price, but with Game Pass becoming an option.

Xbox also announced that Xbox Game Pass members will also get Discord Nitro benefits that will include the following:

• 250 Discord Orbs each month
• 1.2x extra Orbs when completing Quests
• Automatically applied Discord Shop discounts

The Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition was leaked a few weeks ago, prior to this announcement. Asha Sharma had teased that there would be more coming with their partnership.
