Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer Spike Chunsoft announced that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on November 14, 2025. Pre-orders for the Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions are now live, and Season pass content will become available at a later date.
It was previously leaked that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was coming to the Switch platform, thanks to an early rating.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero features over 180 fighters from Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and select Dragon Ball movies. They are all available in the base game. Each character has their own abilities, transformations, and techniques.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO takes the legendary gameplay of the Budokai Tenkaichi series and raises it to new heights with enhanced mechanics and immersion. Each character’s unique Ki abilities and signature destructive powers are showcased, bringing the anime’s explosive energy to life across every arena. The Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions will feature local and online multiplayer and support for motion controls, allowing players to unleash their favorite hero’s attacks using the Joy-Con controllers.
When Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was released in October 2024, it sold over 3 million copies on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Now that it is coming to the Switch platform, sales numbers are expected to be higher.
