Bandai Namco announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2027.
The title was previously titled “Age 1000” by Bandai Namco. It features a never-before-seen original character by Akira Toriyama. It has been in development for at least 6 to 7 years with Toriyama’s involvement. Toriyama also designed the game’s lore.
The announcement comes during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 event, along with other announcements, including the final DLC in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for the Dragon Ball IP, with the Dragon Ball Super anime remake also confirming Frieza is coming.
A Nintendo Switch 2 release does not seem likely at this time. Bandai Namco has not commented on the potential release on Nintendo’s platform.
