
Square Enix celebrated 40 years of Dragon Quest yesterday with a series of announcements of new games that are coming. They announced Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on September 24, 2026.
The Switch 2 version of Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age features everything from the previous Dragon Quest XI S release, as well as a new feature that allows players to choose between two display modes, which prioritize graphics or performance (frame rate).
