Just this past Friday, NetherRealm Studios dropped the gameplay trailer for the approaching Shang Tsung character for Mortal Kombat 11‘s Kombat Pass: as well as revealing three other characters that will be included in the six fighter pass (Nightwolf, Sindel, Spawn). Ending off the trailer with a teaser revealing that “two more guests to be revealed” in the coming future with a distinct noise of a chainsaw running in the background.

Following the trailer breaking, it seems that more speculation pointing towards Evil Dead’s Ash coming to the game’s roster has surfaced once more despite actor Bruce Campbell denouncing the character’s entry into the cast of fighters. This time, fans look towards a recent tweet from Campbell insinuating the possibility of Ash dropping into Mortal Kombat 11.

Regardless of Campbell’s decry on the rumor involving Ash William for the latest fighter from NetherRealm, it does not combat the findings of the character that users have discovered through datamining the game prior to his statement. Ultimately, we will have to wait and see when the developer is ready to disclose the last two characters for the current Kombat pack.
