Lionhead’s upcoming game Fable Legends will launch on the Xbox One and PC this year. The Fable franchise have always been a huge succes on the Xbox consoles and this game is no different. It is highly anticipated for 2016 and even a beta has launched.
Lionheads’s Staurt Whyte says that Fable Legends uses “fairly advance” technology. He has said that DX12 has helped the Xbox One’s graphical and computing capabilities improve. “Fable Legends is using a number of features on Xbox One, including asynchronous compute and efficient multi-threaded rendering.” Says Whyte, “ this will push the visual bar higher than would otherwise be possible.”
With Microsoft’s DX12 more games will be able to perform better than what the hardware could originally do. At first glance Fable Legends doesn’t look like the new AAA game but just remember that great technological progress is taking part in this game and more.
