Fallout Season 3 could start filming in Summer 2026

Fallout Season 2 goes live on Amazon Prime Video next week, December 17, 2025. There are already plans for Season 3, as it was already renewed ahead of the premiere of Season 2. The third season might be happening sooner than we think.

IGN did an interview with Executive Producer Jonathan Nolan and Geneva Robertson-Dworet to talk about the upcoming season. It was mentioned in the interview that Fallout Season 3 is aiming to start filming in Summer 2026.

The goal is to release new seasons as quickly as possible. It could all depend on how well Fallout does with Season 2 after the first one broke records for Prime Video. It’s expected to do extremely well with the weekly episodes.

Fallout Season 2 will feature New Vegas, as teased at the end of Season 1. Fans of Fallout: New Vegas will want to stay tuned to what this next season has to offer.
