For the foreseeable future, it looks that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is finally on its last legs in terms of new content i.e. stages and characters with the last character for Fighter Pass Vol. 2 just on the horizon. Back during the original release for the game, it was already clarified that Nintendo will be halting on further additions at the time and now was recently readdressed by  Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai.

As of late, the game series welcomed its latest addition, Kazuya from the Tekken series. Additionally, the latest batch of Mii Fighter costumes did bring some excitement to the inevitable end of add-ons to the game. In that, it welcomed Lloyd (Tales of Synphonia), Shantae (Shantae), Dragonborn (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim), and Dante (Devil May Cry).

However, with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to hang its cape, a new hero needs to emerge in this new age of vacancy. And, it appears that GameMill Entertainment might do as such with a new announcement – Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below:

“Brawl it out as your favorite Nickelodeon characters in bombastic platform battles! With a power-packed cast of heroes from the Nickelodeon universe, face-off with all-stars from SpongeBob Squarepants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Loud House, Danny Phantom, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, The Wild Thornberrys, Hey Arnold!, Rugrats, and more to determine ultimate animation dominance.”

The trailer description continues by reading, “With unique move sets and attacks inspired by their personalities, each character has an individual style of play enabling endless action for Nickelodeon’s legion of fans. Select your favorite and then let the intense brawls begin with online and local multiplayer action.”

While unsure of the full roster, IGN confirms that there are a total of 14 characters confirmed for the game so far: Danny Phantom, Helga, Leonardo, Lincoln Loud, Lucy Loud, Michelangelo, Nigel Thornberry, Oblina, Patrick Star, Powdered Toast Man, Reptar, Sandy Cheeks, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Zim.
