Gears 5 To Receive Halo: Reach Pack

Gamescom begins this week and Microsoft has a couple announcements and features to show off in certain games such as Gears 5. Yesterday, known leaker known as ‘Sabi’ on twitter mentioned that there will be a Gears of War 5 x Halo: Reach crossover, but couldn’t detail anything more specific besides the fact that you will be playing as the Noble team in the upcoming Gears of War title.

This morning of August 19, 2019 there was an ad found on the Xbox dashboard and it shows Emile and Kat who are two of the six mobile team members. The ad says “Go Ultimate and get the Halo: Reach Pack.” We would guess that you might need to acquire the ultimate edition of Gears 5 in order to play as the Halo: Reach characters. The Noble team consists of Jorge, Kat, Emile, Carter, Jun, and Noble Six.

With Gamescom just starting it’s no question that this will be announced at the event real soon and we’ll see official gameplay and more details about this unique crossover. This news comes at a time where Halo: Reach is in the process of coming to Halo: MCC for Xbox One & PC so it makes perfect sense for them to do this partnership.
