While Sony Interactive Entertainment is continuing to fuel its first-party lineup on the latest PlayStation 5, the Japanese firm is slowly advancing into PC territory now. Already, titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding were already welcomed to the mix. The most recent addition came last month in the form of Bend Studio’s Days Gone. But, it does not end there it appears.
In that, Sony during its annual report indicated that more games are on the way to the platform. And in one slide it is revealed that Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the next on that list. “More PC releases planned,” the slide reads alongside the aforementioned title. Even more, there is other scheduled additions that might also be in the pipeline according to a new discovery.
Over on Reddit, poster u/Dinov_ discovered what appears to possibly be the first sign for Ghost of Tsushima breaking its exclusivity ties to PlayStation. Found through an updated listing for the game on Amazon, the cover was refreshed missing the “Only on PlayStation” writing on the top suggesting a potential PC version is in the works now. As for the greater part that is Ghost of Tsushima in the past, developer Sucker Punch Productions continue to support the game well beyond its initial release. In the fall last year, the game studio welcomed an optimized update for the game when the PlayStation 5 dropped at the time.
Additionally, the successes of the summer release also proved to be influential enough for a complete film adaptation. Sony Interactive Entertainment & PlayStation Pictures are closely working to make a live-action production based on the titular video game. But, there is no determining when it will hit the silver screen just yet. You can read the full report by heading here.
