When it came time for Rockstar Games to properly address its plans for the next Grand Theft Auto, the internet beat it to the punch. Instead, after leaking online the developer decided to upload ahead of its promised time. And it did not take long for the internet to break with confirmation Grand Theft Auto VI is on the way. Enough online drive it outpaced views for the first trailer of 2013’s Grand Theft Auto V in its first day.
Additionally, it was pressed in late February that the last stage of development is already here for the game, reports share. So more on the game is expected to roll out within the coming months. In the mean time, GTA Online still receives additional support a decade later. In December, ‘The Chop Shop’ Update rolled out featuring a bevy of new additions to the game.
This week, a new update has arrived including a whole new narrative experience under the guise ‘The Cluckin’ Bell Raid’ Update. You can watch the launch trailer in the video below:
“Since being relieved of his post as Head of Security at The Diamond Casino & Resort, Vincent Effenburger has traded in his mall cop uniform for a Los Santos Police Department badge and gun. But the corruption of the LSPD runs deep, and Vincent’s already tired of fetching coffee for crooked cops on the take.”
The overview continues: “Now, he’s intent on sticking it to the city’s mercenary police force in his own way, and has it on good authority that a drug cartel is moving imported cocaine out of Cluckin’ Bell’s facilities in Paleto Bay while the LSPD has promised to turn a blind eye in exchange for a cut of the action.”
Like similar events before it, The Cluckin’ Bell Raid can be approached by yourself solo or with a crew of four. Additions with the new update includes the Bravado Gauntlet Interceptor, Canis Terminus, and Vapid Benson. Completing the new weekly challenges also rewards players with the Cluckin’ Bell Cap, & GTA$100,000. The Cluckin’ Bell Tee & Outfit is also unlocked via new Career Progress challenges.
