Halo Studios announced Halo: Campaign Evolved today at the start of the Halo World Championships. The franchise will come to PlayStation 5 for the first time when it celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2026. The developer revealed a load of information about the highly anticipated remake.
Will Halo: Campaign Evolved have a co-op campaign?
Yes, Halo: Campaign Evolved will release with a co-op campaign with up to 4 players supported, and 2-player split-screen will be doable. There was initially concern that future Halo games might not have co-op at launch, given that Halo Infinite did not have it initially.
You can play co-op across all available platforms – Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Co-op is what makes Halo campaigns so iconic since the moment the franchise started in 2001, and these moments will be created for newcomers who have been on the PlayStation platform.
