Halo Wars 2 goes gold

As the release of Halo Wars 2 looms on the horizon for February 21, development of the game is wrapping up. The last big milestone in a game’s development is the game being fully prepared for release is ‘going gold’. As of this afternoon, Halo Wars 2 has officially gone gold and is in the form it’ll be when players get their hands on it in a little over a month.

Dan Ayoub, the studio head at 343 on the Halo Wars 2 project, tweeted out the celebratory photo of the team of developers who worked on the game.
