Developer Harmonix, primarily known from the ongoing Rock Band franchise for the last few years have been quietly working on a new project which was revealed recently. While the studio has been pumping new content into the current installment Rock Band 4 since the game’s release back in 2015, the game developer is ready to show off what’s next in line from it expertise with music-based entertainment.
Announcing Fuser, Harmonix tells this game to be “a non-stop virtual music festival where you control the music.” Unlike preceding projects from the team which emphasizes on individual songs, Fuser will instead be a compilation of know tracks which the player can compile to create unique medleys for virtually endless entertainment.
The game is said to be launching with over 100 songs to be available, but here are the first 16 that have been shared so far:
- All Star – Smash Mouth
- bad guy – Billie Eilish
- Better Now – Post Malone
- Born This Way – Lady Gaga
- Don’t Fear The Reaper – Blue Oyster Cult
- Don’t Let Me Down – The Chainsmokers ft. Daya
- Good as Hell – Lizzo
- In Da Club – 50 Cent
- Mi Gente – J. Balvin & Willy William
- Old Town Road (Remix) – Lil Nas X Billy Ray Cyrus
- Party Rock Anthem – LMFAO ft. Lauren Bennett & GoodRockRegulate –
- Warren G & Nate Dogg
- Rock The Casbah – The Clash
- The Rockafeller Skank – Fatboy Slim
- Stir Fry – Migos
- Thunder – Imagine Dragons
While this might seem like a new take on the DJ Hero realm of rhythmic titles, Fuser does take some learning and can be mastered in the game’s campaign play: allowing players to help master the skills of mixing song and earn experience alongside new content also. In contrast, players can go online as well to mix together with other participants and create beyond your own creativity together.
Freestyle Play on the other hand will open the door to more opportunity which will help make more flavorful mixes and even work to apply affects to your own festival. Social Sharing as you would expect will also be supported to make expressing your own mixes on the internet as effortless as possible to do.

Fuser is scheduled to arrive in Fall 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
