Hogwarts Legacy has now sold 24 million copies since its release

Hogwarts Legacy was one of the biggest surprises of 2023 becoming the highest-selling game in the United States outpacing the Call of Duty franchise which hasn’t been done in quite some time. In a recent post from Variety, Warner Bros. revealed the two franchises they profited from in 2023 were Mortal Kombat 1 and Hogwarts Legacy.

Warner Bros revealed that Hogwarts Legacy is now at 24 million copies sold ahead of its 1-year anniversary in February. That means the Harry Potter video game sold better than Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Diablo IV, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

With a game having this much success, you can very much assume that sequels and more will be coming for Hogwarts Legacy.
