It has been a few years since Insomniac Games shared any news related to the Marvel Wolverine game. Fans won’t have to wait long to finally see gameplay because Insider Gaming has reported that Wolverine will be part of PlayStation’s next State of Play.
The outlet has also reported that the next State of Play will be hosted by the end of September. Their sources are almost certain that Insomniac Games will be there with Wolverine, as the next trailer has been completed. If it’s not at the next presentation by PlayStation, it will likely still come within the next few months, Tom Henderson states.
The timeline of future Insomniac titles was leaked by hackers almost two years ago. At the time, it was reported that Wolverine wouldn’t release until Fiscal Year 2026. There had been reports previously that the game would release in 2025. Since the major leak happened, the studio had to change some of the game’s plans.
In other PlayStation-related news, a State of Play was recently held for 007 First Light from IO Interactive, showcasing gameplay and revealing its release date.
As usual with reports like these, we should take them with a grain of salt. Although Tom Henderson has been correct before on his reports.
