Interactive Streaming Series Silent Hill Ascension Announced, Goes Live In 2023

The Wednesday-held Silent Hill Transmission has been nothing short of rewarding for fans anticipating new released for the Silent Hill IP. First off, Silent Hill 2 Remake is real! Even more, Bloober Team is connected to the project. Sony Interactive Entertainment went on to announce the game will be launching exclusively on PlayStation 5 upon release alongside PC.

Additionally, No Code & Annapurna Interactive is working on a new experienced titled ‘Silent Hill Downfall’. The influences of the Silent Hill franchise is said to be respect whilst delivering a new experience. Moreover, Silent Hill (2006) director Christophe Gans & producer Victor Hanada are to return for a new film ‘Return to Silent Hill’ which is an adaptation of Silent Hill 2.

Now, Genvid CEO Jacon Navok announces Silent Hill Ascension. The project is said to be an interactive streaming experience in collaboration with Behaviour Interactive, Bad Robot Games, and dj2 Entertainment. You can watch the teaser trailer in the video below:

It is a live, real-time interactive series where millions of fans will watch together as the chilling story unfolds,” Navok explains. “You can change its outcomes, and even be part of scenes. JJ Abrams (Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Mission: Impossible – Fallout) is said to be attached to direct. “Genvid’s experience presents a wild, epic, and innovative new way to immerse yourself in the horrors of Silent Hill,” Abrams shares in a statement during the presentation.
