On Thursday, Konami has proven to have a stacked itinerary for 2026 looking ahead. From the PlayStation State of Play hosted late afternoon, it has proven just that. During the showcase, the publisher did feature gameplay for Silent Hill: Townfall. The game has been quietly in development since its original announcement back in 2022.
Additionally, Konami also revealed a new Castlevania project in collaboration with Motion Twin: Belmont’s Curse. The game is slated to release on all major platforms sometime in 2026. And, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is also confirmed. The original PlayStation 3 exclusive Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is verified to be hitting other platforms officially now.
During the same presentation, Konami revealed that its new octopus stealth experience Darwin’s Paradox is coming this spring. The publisher showcased the title with a level inspired by Metal Gear Solid. You can watch the trailer from the showcase in the video below:
“Embark on a grand adventure worthy of a true animated movie with Darwin, an octopus as charming as he is clever, ripped from the ocean and trapped in a massive and mysterious industrial complex. With his extraordinary intelligence and incredible abilities – swimming, camouflage, and many other fascinating skills – help him overcome the most formidable traps and dangers in this captivating platformer, adventure, and puzzle game.”
The official website continues: “In the peaceful vastness of the ocean, Darwin, a young octopus, explores the deep sea… until a strange beam of light pierces the abyss and pulls him toward the surface. Thrust out of his aquatic world, he wakes up disoriented in the middle of a gigantic junkyard, backed by a foreboding factory.”
