Last week, Rockstar Games announced a new heist update that will be arriving to Grand Theft Auto V’s GTA Online as players will soon have the opportunity to seize the profits made from the Diamond Casino through the mask of a retro video game arcade in San Andreas. However, the developer also announced that a new addition will also be coming 2018’s action western Red Dead Redemption 2 that same week.
Uploading a new trailer which reveals that players on Red Dead Online will now have the opportunity to pursue the illegal trade of bootlegging moonshine in the Five Counties. You can watch the full trailer just below:
Unlike the three trades that you can practice within the boundaries of your camp thanks to the new roles that were added over the Summer, moonshining on the other hand will require players to do some work on the go, similar to how the syndicates you should already be accustomed to in GTA Online. Upon completing a Trader Sell mission or reaching Rank 5 Trader will grant you contact with Maggie Fike to initiate this new underground business.
Players are required to purchase a nice plot of land throughout the world to settle where they are going to cook up some White Lightning. Follow suit, you will need to acquire a cook along with the proper equipment to set up this new operation you are making. And just then will you be able to fully kickoff this new scheme into full effect as you will have a list of new story missions available for you to do shortly after. Business will then branch out for players to create different concoctions alongside building more expansions for your entrepreneurial outpost later on.
Moonshiners will be equipped with their own progression system just like the other roles available in Red Dead Redemption 3: similarly, they will also receive a role exclusive Flammable Moonshine Jug throwable and ornamental design for the Sawed-Off Shotgun. Today, PlayStation 4 owners will be receiving the Moonshine Band expansion for free along with the previously exclusive photo mode to PC.
Are you planning on starting this new role in the Five Counties?
Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
