Initially, the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was rumored to be included with the Nintendo Switch on launch. Then, it was said to be delayed due to testing and would launch most likely in Summer.
Today, according to Nintendo insider Laura Kate Dale, there has been progress on the game and it will in fact launch with the Switch in March. The official announcement will come on January 12th when Nintendo has their next media event in New York City. Other news also has the game Mother 3 to release on the system’s virtual console in Q2 of this year as well, with an announcement to also come at the same event.
Hopefully, this is true as Kate Dale has been on point with her Nintendo news so far. The Switch is a innovative new console and I can’t see Nintendo missing out on that “new console fever” in order to get the most copies of the game out as possible. Let us know what you think below.
