Microsoft’s Scalebound suffered an unfortunate event earlier this year with its cancellation after what rumors say a disagreement between Platinum Games and Microsoft Studios happened during development.
According to Trademarkia, Microsoft has extended Scalebound trademark rights just two weeks ago. This could indicate a possible reboot for the game with a different developer or could be just a normal practice to extend trademarks to avoid anyone else to use. On Twitter, there are rumors saying the development is underway by an important team, “close” to Microsoft according to a fan.
