Among one of the most anticipated titles in recent years, many did not expect the amount of noise to grow like it does for Hollow Knight: Silksong. The game was announced roughly three years ago and little on the game has been shared since the inception of the project in 2019. At the time, the title was said to be planned as an expansion, but has grown and later realized into a full-on release.
Since then, many fans continue to cash in on the idea that Nintendo has the game in its back pocket for the right occasion to reveal new footage on the game; a release date would also be nice to see as well, right? However, that day never came for patient fans as the wait continues to stretch over a couple years now.
At the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase this Sunday, Team Cherry in a surprise reveal early into the show unveiled new gameplay for Hollow Knight: Silksong. Atop of that, the game is also confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass as well – whenever it arrives that is. You can watch the new trailer in the video below:
Alongside the likes of Hollow Knight: Silksong, there are other outlandish reveals that took place at the Xbox presentation this weekend. For one, Atlus attended the show to reveal the three latest Persona releases are coming to Xbox in the fall. October will introduce Persona 5 Royal followed by Persona 3 Portable & Persona 4 Golden sometime later on and possibly not in that order.
Additionally, Team Ninja also made a surprise appearance. In that, the Nioh developer revealed a new IP – Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Similar to Hollow Knight: Silksong, this new project is also slated to release for Xbox Game Pass later on when it ships sometime in 2023. You can read the full report by heading here.
