Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection physical edition announced

During EVO 2025, Publisher Atari and developer Digital Eclipse announced the physical editions of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection for PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Switch 2, and PC.

When the game was announced in June, there was a mystery game to be announced. Digital Eclipse revealed it to be Mortal Kombat Trilogy as a playable game in the collection. Mortal Kombat Trilogy was first released in 1996 as the final updated release of Mortal Kombat 3, adding characters and stages from Mortal Kombat 1 and 2.

Pre-orders for the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection physical editions are available now. There will be a Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and a Kollector’s Edition.

Standard Edition

Price: $49.99 on PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Switch. $59.99 on Switch 2

As a special bonus, every standard edition pre-order will include an exclusive slipcover, available only to fans who pre-order.

Deluxe Edition

Price: $69.99 on PS5 and Switch. $79.99 on Switch 2

The Deluxe Edition levels up your experience with a steelbook case, magnet, poster, lenticular card, arcade flyers, and more.

Kollector’s Edition

Price: $149.99 on PS5, Xbox, Switch, Steam, and Switch 2

The ultimate Kollector’s Edition is available in limited quantities in partnership with Limited Run Games. Packaged in an individually numbered Kollector’s box, the set includes a Goro controller holder statue, hardcover art and lore book, and much more.

The physical editions of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will release on December 12, 2025. As for the digital version of the game, it’s expected to be released in September. The Kollector’s Edition will ship at a later date.
