Need For Speed: Rivals online servers will shutdown on October 7

Electronic Arts has always been known to shut down servers of older games it releases and especially with sports games. It was announced already that EA Sports NHL 21 will have its online servers shut down on October 6, 2025. It was revealed by EA that Need For Speed Rivals will have its online servers shut down on October 7, 2025.

Need For Speed: Rivals was released in 2013 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. All of its online features and multiplayer support will go away once October 7th rolls around. This will mean any multiplayer-related achievement the game may have will no longer be obtainable once the servers are shut down.

A notice has been made on all online storefronts that list Need For Speed: Rivals.
