New Amiibo Revealed During Nintendo’s Digital Event

Today Nintendo had their Digital Conference. It once again was a comical time with Nintendo executives being muppets. Lets go onto the Amiibo news they showed us. These were not expected at all by most people. Lets start off with the Animal Crossing Amiibo.

These new Amiibo will be usable with the newly Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer which will be launching for the 3DS on September 25th, 2015.  Those 4 guys are Isabelle, K.K. Slider, Able, and Tom Nook.

These Amiibo are usable in Amiibo Festival. Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival is a Party-like board game that involves NFC-powered Amiibo figurines from the Animal Crossing world.

The other 4 Animal Crossing Amiibo. No word on a set release date yet for these guys yet.

Also what was announced at the Digital Event was  that these two Amiibo will be coming out for the Super Mario Bros 30th Anniversary. There will be a classic and modern version. Here is what it looks like in a package.

“Hundreds of character cards to collect and trade with friends.” Nintendo is clearly expanding their Amiibo selection even further. Here are the collectible character cards.
