
It has been almost 5 years since we received the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Remaster from Activision. There were reports recently that a new Tony Hawk remaster was on its way and it looks like a Black Ops 6 update has teased it.
The newest multiplayer map for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Grind, teases there will be a Tony Hawk-related announcement on March 4, 2025. The sign can be seen in the skate shop on the map which obviously gives everything away.
The logo seen on the banner looks like a silhouette of one of the covers for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 & 4.

Further on this, Tony Hawk responded to CharlieIntel’s post on X (Twitter) with the “Eyes” emoji.
It was no secret that Tony Hawk wanted to have Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Remastered as he revealed on a podcast in 2022. He shared that Activision put Vicarious Visions on to other projects and took pitches from other studios, but shot them all down.
The possibility of a Pro Skater 3+4 remaster became more realistic when Microsoft acquired Activision in 2023.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 was released in 2001 for PlayStation 2 and Nintendo 64. While Pro Skater 4 released on PlayStation 2 and Nintendo GameCube in 2002.
