When Detective Pikachu debuted with the film’s first trailer back in November, many fans were questioning to see the film due to the scarily realistic looking Pokémon, but now you have a deadline to decide as the latest trailer for the Ryan Reynolds starred film is set to release this May.

In the 30 second trailer, not much was shown or expanded upon from the original debuting trailer. One new scene that was presented though was of a close up of Lickitung. Which only expands on the creepy CGI that holds a firm grip around the majority of the film.

Previously it was reported that a sequel for the upcoming Pokémon movie has already began its development. Which came off as pretty odd since projected numbers have yet to release as the first film is currently being waited on to release in late-Spring.

Detective Pikachu is set to hit theaters on May 10, 2019.
