To too long before, Ubisoft Montreal released the currently ongoing Operation Oracle which starred Netflix’s Punisher Jon Bernthal at the beginning of the month for Ghost Recon Wildlands. Now, there is official word from Ubisoft themselves that a new title will be revealed this coming Thursday, May 9th.

Revolving around what specifically the unnamed Ghost Recon title will be based on has not been detailed. What is left in question is if the approaching reveal will show off a new take on the Tom Clancy-inspired franchise or be a new installment following the more traditional formula.

As fans have had their fun with the current title in Bolivia, it will be interesting to see where the next game will be set: maybe following Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter with a more linear and urban approach? Assuming Ubisoft will be heavy on bringing new and fresh content to the new game, it’s best to expect multiple seasonal updates and gameplay-centered event drops following the game’s launch.

What do you think might be coming with the new Ghost Recon game?
