Microsoft is soon set to unveil a “big update” surround original Xbox backward compatibility for Xbox One, as a part of its monthly gaming news show, Inside Xbox. It’s set to air at 6:30 PM ET on April 10, and many of us expect a new wave of compatible titles for the system.
With a few hours to go until an official announcement, new Xbox Marketplace listings have begun surfacing via the Xbox.com. New pages for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Destroy All Humans, MX Unleashed and Full Spectrum Warrior have been published, ahead of the impending announcement.
There’s a chance this isn’t the final list of new titles hitting backward compatibility soon – many original Xbox titles are already listed on the Xbox Marketplace from the Xbox 360 era.
There could be more announcements such as a Crackdown 3 release date as Phil Spencer said we were close to an announcement of that. We’ll have to wait and see.
