Nintendo is once again teaming up with LEGO on another iconic set that is planned to release this year. The official LEGO Game Boy has been revealed featuring the iconic directional pad and purple buttons from the original handheld console.

The announcement came on Thursday afternoon while fans were waiting for the reveal of the Nintendo Switch 2.

The LEGO Game Boy will release in October 2025. No other details have yet been revealed regarding the latest collaboration between the two companies. The teaser trailer was shared on Nintendo of America’s official X account.

Nintendo has been actively partnering with LEGO over the last few years with the Animal Crossing sets, NES set, and plenty of Mario sets. The Game Boy will add to the LEGO console collection which should also be a smaller set.
