Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 10.36 million units as of September 30

The latest financial results for Nintendo have been released with an updated sales report on its games and consoles. As of September 30, 2025, the Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 10.36 million units worldwide and 20.62 million software units sold.

The report also shared that Nintendo Switch has sold 154.01 million units since 2017. The Switch 2 is on pace to outsell the Wii U by Winter 2026.

Europe – 2.40M

Japan – 2.35M

Nintendo Switch 2 Software Sales

Nintendo Switch 2 software sales continue to impress. Mario Kart World, which was a release title for the console, has now sold 9.57 million units, and Donkey Kong Bananza sold 3.49 million units.

The company has also revised the Nintendo Switch 2 sales forecast from 15 million units to 19 million units sold by March 31, 2026.

Nintendo recently announced that its second-best-selling game for the Switch, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, will also be getting a Switch 2 Edition that will add a load of new features.
